ILISA Donates to Pilgrim Wesleyan Church

On the 11th of April, 2017 the International Institute of Southern Africa- ILISA handed over a 40 foot container with various items for education and health to Pilgrim Wesleyan Church. The handover ceremony was held in Choma at Choma Mission; Mochipapa Road. In attendance was the Guest of honor – Hon Minister Edify Hamukale

The ceremony kick started with welcoming remarks given by the District Overseer for Choma District -Rev Sichikata. He expressed his delight to have the presence of government officials, Pilgrim Wesleyan Church Leadership and members, community members and school children.

Guest of honor at the handover ceremony was Provincial Minister for Southern Province; Hon Edify Hamukale. In His speech he witnessed of the good works of Pilgrim Wesleyan and its partners. During his secondary education years he received medical attention at Chabboboma Clinic, one of the mission clinics of Pilgrim Wesleyan Church. He urged recipients of donated items to put them to good use.

Director of International Institute of Southern Africa – ILISA Mrs. Kalembo addressed everyone and communicated the vison of ILISA. ILISA is an interdenominational Christian organization that exists to accelerate the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ in Southern Africa by training and mobilizing leaders of leaders in Biblical leadership, relevant evangelism and holistic ministry.

The Provincial Education Officer; Mrs.Chikalekale spoke giving praise to the work of ILISA.
She said their provincial education office has just launched their strategic plan and this plan includes partnership with the community. She said she is grateful that ILISA & Pilgrim Wesleyan Church have come on board.

1 small hospital bed for Pilgrim Wesleyan Clinics- ChabbobbomaRural Health Center
1 baby hospital bed for Pilgrim Wesleyan Clinics -Siachitema Rural Health Center
Walkers for Pilgrim Wesleyan Clinics
10 5 gallon buckets of shoes Pilgrim Wesleyan Social Economic Empowerment Department (SEED)
20 bicycles; 10 for Pilgrim Wesleyan Schools and 10 for pastors
1 9 cubby book shelf for Pilgrim Wesleyan Schools
